Through my work as a CFO, I gained experience and knowledge in the operation and management of the economic and financial corporate system, including the implementation of accounting methodology, custom manufacturing reporting and tax policy. ”

Ing. Daniel Šalamún

Daniel has over 25 years of international professional experience providing statutory audit, internal audit services, advisory and training services for private and public sector. He has also managed and led a number of advisory and training projects (financial, compliance audit projects and internal audit projects, reviews and consulting projects) for state and public administration authorities, including central state administration bodies. For private sector client, he performed SOX projects and internal control projects.

 

Daniel has extensive knowledge of the International Standards on Auditing (ISA) issued by IFAC, Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing issued by the Institute of Internal Auditors, and INTOSAI standards (International Standards for Supreme Audit Institutions – ISSAI). He is responsible for business development, training, managing projects and supervising project teams. Daniel is a statutory auditor and member of the Management Board of the Slovak Chamber of Auditors responsible for foreign relations, an international financial auditor (FCCA), and certified internal auditor (CIA) and a Certified Government Auditing Professional (CGAP). During November 2010 – November 2016 he acted as a Chairman of SKAU Ethics and Independence Committee and Chairman of SKAU Auditing Standards Committee responsible for preparing guidelines for statutory auditors related to audit methodology, ISA and ethical issues.
